Welcome to the newly re-designed Daily Capital. We’re excited to share it with you, and we hope that makes reading our blog an even better experience. Yes, we gave it a makeover just a few months ago, but that was done more to match the new look of Personal Capital.
For this project, we took a big step back and re-imagined what the Daily Capital could be. We realized that it’s not really a “blog,” but instead it’s an online magazine with timely articles and an archive of useful, relevant information. From guides for retirement planning to personal stories about finances, Daily Capital is your go-to resource for everything you wanted to know about your money.
“Daily Capital has continued to evolve over the years from a blog to a destination for all things personal finance. We have a team of financial advisors, writers, influencers, and lifestyle experts who come together to create unique and compelling content for the site, and I think the new design really reflects the quality of the content,” says Hilary Miller, Sr. Marketing Manager and Editor of Daily Capital. “We’re so excited to introduce Daily Capital’s new look, we hope it enhances your experience, and look forward to continuing to provide you with content to help guide you through the different stages of your financial journey.”
What’s new? Let’s start at the top. Here, you’ll see our latest article. To the side, our two most recent articles, so you can easily get caught up. Above, you can click on one of 4 categories, or use the filter to narrow down a selection of pieces. You can also search for specific topics, keywords, or articles by clicking the magnifying glass, located in the upper right corner.
Below the main article, we have collections of recent articles grouped by category. Want to read the latest on investing or education planning? Just scroll down. And towards the bottom of the page, you can find the latest articles on what’s going on at Personal Capital.
When you click to read an article, at the bottom of the page, you’ll see recommendations for related content. We find that a lot of readers want to keep exploring a certain topic, so we want to make sure that you can easily find other pieces.
Overall, we wanted to make sure that the Daily Capital is more accessible and easier to navigate. And being design nerds, we wanted it to look as thoughtful and professional as the writing you find here.
It’s been a long, but rewarding, project to bring you this new look. We hope like it, and most important, we hope you continue to find helpful, valuable information here for your financial journey.
